Booking, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

Effective in accordance with City of Chicago Ordinance 9-112 and 9-114
1. Reservations: All reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day bookings are subject to vehicle availability and may incur a surcharge.
2. Cancellations:
– Cancellations made more than 12 hours prior to scheduled pickup will receive a full refund.
– Cancellations made within 12 hours but more than 2 hours in advance are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
– No-shows or cancellations less than 2 hours in advance are non-refundable.
3. Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within 7 business days to the original method of payment. Administrative fees may apply.

Wait Time and Grace Period Policy

In compliance with Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP)
1. Grace Period:
– A 15-minute grace period is allowed for all standard pickups (e.g., residential, hotel, or business).
– For airport pickups, a 30-minute grace period is granted from the time the plane lands (based on flight tracking).
2. Additional Wait Time Charges:
– After the grace period, passengers will be charged $1.50 per minute of wait time, billed in 5-minute increments.
– Wait time fees will be added to the final fare.
3. Driver Wait Protocol: Drivers will attempt to contact the passenger and wait for up to 30 minutes before canceling the trip as a “no-show”.
Liability, Conduct, and Service Terms

1. Passenger Conduct:
– Passengers must behave respectfully and follow all safety instructions provided by the driver.
– Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited in vehicles.
2. Service Limitations:
– The company reserves the right to refuse service to passengers exhibiting disorderly, threatening, or unlawful behavior.
– The company is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, mechanical failure, or acts of God.
3. Damage or Cleaning Fees:
– Passengers causing damage to the vehicle or requiring excessive cleaning will be charged a cleaning/damage fee of $150–$300, depending on severity.
